Some one thinks I am special

Hey, Thanks Rebecca for helping me remember how to post on the BLOG. Here is a picture of a flower arrangement that was sent to the AAA office from a member who thinks I am great! It was so nice! Grandma Pat should be on here soon with pictures of Merrill's birthday bash. My front yard looked like a small carnival had come to town. A good time was had by all. Thanks for coming everyone. 2006 US MotoGP Laguna Seca

Gosh it was really hot in Monterey last weekend. You may ask, "How does he know it was really hot in Monterey last weekend." Because I was there!!!!!!!!! I Went to the second ever 2006 US MotoGP @ Laguna Seca which is East of Monterey about 15 miles. MotoGp is like Formula One for motorcycles. These are the fastest closed circuit motorcycles in the world and very loud. If you are anywhere near the track you need ear plugs. Here are some pictures of the racing.

They wear plastic pucks on their knees so when the bike leans over they drag it on the ground. When it's dragging on the ground that means no more leaning. It's like a guage to know when to stop leaning.

Super Merrill

This is a picture of Merrill hanging in a harness from the big crane truck that the towing company just got. It apparently can pick up a car from between others or from in a space that the regular truck cannot reach. It can also put that car on top of your house...if you want to. Looks like some folks had some excess time on their hands! Of course, Merrill is soo cute anyway. I guess no one else was brave enough to get hoisted up. He sure is confident too...well, has he ever been afraid of looking silly?? Way to go, Merrill!

Funny blonde joke

A blonde goes into a nearby store and asks a clerk if she can buy the TV in the corner. The clerk looks at her and says that he doesn't serve blondes, so she goes back home and dyes her hair black. The next day she returns to the store and asks the same thing, and again, the clerk said he doesn't serve blondes. Frustrated, the blonde goes home and dyes her hair yet again, to a shade of red. Sure that a clerk would sell her the TV this time, she returns and asks a different clerk this time. To her astonishment, this clerk also says that she doesn't serve blondes. The blonde asks the clerk, "How in the world do you know I am a blonde?" The clerk looks at her disgustedly and says,"That's not a TV -- it's a microwave!"

New pictures of the family

We found Nathan sleeping in this position the other night. He prefers sleeping on his stomach. Soon after we lay him down to sleep he turns over to his belly. It is hard to see but he is on his knees. lol

Mialee and Nathan like to play. This is great because it keeps them both occupied at the same time. very helpfull. But we have to keep an eye on them. The other day I caught Mialee body slaming Nathan. She was kneeling down next to him and falling over on to him and rolling on him with her belly. He didn't seem to mind though lol.

How Precious

Just Saturday Morning

Good Morning Everyone, Just getting caught up on my e-mail. The cats are enjoying my company as I try and mouse and brush them one handed. My macaroni and eggs are cooked and ready to turn into salad. Hey! I saw the prices on eggs in the market..I should charge more for mine! I wanted to save the good fresh eggs for baking, so bought some small ones at the market for the salad. I paid $1.29 for puny eggs that were half the size of the one's I get. Sheesh! Anyway..I am still looking for a replacement range hood. Jay says he will install it. How would the family like to pool funds and get me one for Christmas? I was looking at a really cheap one..but Jay said to 'get a good one'..so if you all went in together...I could get a 'good' one. How does that sound? The light is broken on the one I have and the fan is going too. Let me know if that interests anyone and let me know a price range..K? What I have been looking at so far starts at about $75 for a really basic one up to $300 for one with variable speed fan and light settings.
I am looking forward to tomorrow and our Mothers Day and B-Day at Miguelito Park. Merrill and Jess said we should go out a little early to get a good spot. Then we will see The Smith Family around 1pm. I am going out to the freezer to select our meat options today. Jess's Mom is making a fruit salad. Nancy and Jay are having fun fun fun on their bike trip. She called last night from Tuscon and tired but happy. They met up with one of Jay's new found relatives.
Teri, your pictures looked great. I could tell you all had a wonderful time. I did not see you in the 'mosh pit' however..whats up with that? Maybe next time.
Well, have to get busy...love to all!

Nathan has become our red cheeked baby. What is the deal with that? Maybe the pediatrician can shed some light this Friday. Red cheeks or not, my gosh, he is adorable!
